Hello friends!

As you know, I’m totally happy with my Slhost vps. I use about a half dozen hosting accounts of various flavors, and this is by far what I recommend the most. Since it’s so hard to figure out requirements, I thought I would post my usage here, to help you get an idea of what you might need. Right now Slhost has a 50% discount on their vps packages if you pay for a year at signup. So the total cost is about $270 per year. The nice thing about the discount is that you stay at that level forever, so it doesn’t go up to full price in the future! So far I’m at their level 1, although that won’t last long, especially with V2 of BlogSolution due out tomorrow! The package includes 10 G of disk and 150G of bandwidth. Their service is unparalleled. Vps for a newbie can be a bit of a trick, but they were very helpful, and I’ve found some pretty fair resources, just e-mail me if you need some reading material or help!

For the month of March, I used 5.27 G of bandwidth and I’m at 4G of disk space. I was a little surprised to see my usage this high, and will have to upgrade soon!

Right now I have 10-12,000 sites on there, mostly made up of BlogSolution blogs, Blogger blogs, and NC sites, plus a whole lot of other test sites. Most of these were built in Jan, Feb, and March, so I’m sure bandwith will be increasing exponentially.

Hope this helps!
